Winery : The “Domaine d’Hondrat” is anchored in a rich and colourful territory. It is to the heart of a building dating the 19th century that everything was introduced. Vineyards surround this property and face the Bassin of Thau that the city of Sète since its Mont St Clair dominates.
The “Domain d’Hondrat”, is a family-owned estate and is an integral part of the beautiful region “Occitanie”, at the heart of the Mediterranean Sea.
It’s situated very close from the city of Sète that its terroir expresses himself, vineyards are rocked at the same time by the sea breezes and swept by the Tramontana come from lands.
It was in 1891 when Basile VIGROUX introduced the story of the vineyards and the wine in his family, ancestor of Romain VIGROUX, current Owner of the Domaine. It is thus in the course of 5 generations of passionate Winemakers that wines of the “Domaine d’Hondrat” were shaped and stand out for ever by their typicality.
