These large sides of whole smoked trout are ideal for entertaining and special treats, and the small pack can feed between five and six. The packs of sides, which can be frozen, should be kept refrigerated and used by the best before date, and if frozen they should be used within 3 months of freezing.

The fresh hot smoked sides of trout fillet is packed in 3 different pack sizes: small 500-599g, medium 600-699g, large 700-799g.

All of the Hampshire smoked trout are caught in the gin crystal clear chalk stream waters of Hampshire’s nutrient-rich rivers. The sides of the trout are prepared, and pin boned before being cured with Butlers Country Estates’ unique brine and hot smoking using an aromatic mix of apple, oak and a little hickory. The result is a gift to the senses: succulent whole side with a golden brown glow encouraging taste with its deep and layered smoky aroma.
