Named after the ancient stone circle village, it’s a soft white cheese, is Brie big and creamy, Camembert small, with intense flavour. Buttery texture. Aromatic with brassica notes. White exterior with yellow undertones. Bright cream coloured paste. Oozy soft at the edges, smooth centre. Soft and springy body.

Needing to be refrigerated on arrival, this beautifully smooth cheese won a Silver at the International Cheese and Dairy Awards 2021. The taste is balanced, acid, citrus, and pesto, apricot jam and almond, honey, and crusty bread for the texture.

Drinks that go well are cider, dry white good that’s crisp and acid to cut through fat. Champagne sparkling rose, pilsner lager.
