Winery : In 1985 Francois Ducousso purchased 1.5 hectares of vine parcels in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation. They are situated in the commune of Saint-Etienne de Lisse, 7km South-East of the medieval town of Saint-Émilion. The vines have an average age of 45 years and are planted predominantly in clay soils. It is in the heart of this outstanding terroir that Château Puy Barbey is produced.
